Xero Shoes Ridgeway Mesh Low wandelschoenen - Morel, maat 44

Trail hiking often means choosing between heavy boots that restrict natural foot movement and flimsy shoes that leave feet unprotected. The Xero Shoes Ridgeway Mesh Low solves this by combining a wide, foot-shaped toe box with a zero-drop platform and a rugged yet flexible sole, so you can move naturally over uneven terrain without sacrificing comfort or durability.

Who is it for

These hiking shoes are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts who prefer a minimalist feel on the trail, as well as everyday wearers seeking a lightweight, breathable shoe for walking, light backpacking, or all-day use. The wide toe box accommodates natural toe splay, making them a great choice for those with wider feet or anyone who values foot health.

Tips

For the best barefoot-inspired experience, remove the 2mm insole to get even closer to the ground. If you're new to zero-drop shoes, start with shorter walks to let your feet and calves adapt. The mesh upper dries quickly after stream crossings—simply loosen the laces and let them air out.
