Noctua NH-U9S chromax.zwart CPU-koeler

The Noctua NH-U9S chromax.black is an all-black, compact 92 mm tower CPU cooler that combines proven cooling performance with low noise and broad compatibility. It uses a 92 mm NF-A9 PWM fan and a black-coated heatsink with soldered fin-to-heatpipe joints for long-term thermal reliability. The package includes Noctua’s SecuFirm2™ multi-socket mounting system, NT-H1 thermal compound and fan clips for an optional second fan, making the NH-U9S chromax.black a compact solution for systems that require efficient cooling in limited spaces.

Advantages

The NH-U9S chromax.black pairs a space-saving 95×95 mm footprint with high cooling efficiency and very low noise thanks to the optimized NF-A9 PWM fan and aerodynamic frame features. The black-coated heatsink, black fan and black mounting parts ensure a uniform stealth look while optional coloured anti-vibration pads allow simple visual customization. Soldered fin-to-heatpipe joints provide a durable thermal interface that resists degradation over long-term thermal cycling.

Suitable for

• Compact ATX, microATX and mini-ITX builds where space is limited
• Systems requiring full RAM clearance and compatibility with tall memory modules
• All-black or colour-customised builds using optional chromax anti-vibration pads
• Users who want quiet, reliable cooling with optional push/pull fan configuration

How to use

Install the SecuFirm2™ mounting brackets onto the motherboard following the included instructions for your specific socket. Apply a small pea-sized amount of the supplied NT-H1 thermal compound to the CPU heatspreader, mount the heatsink ensuring even contact pressure, and secure it with the mounting hardware. Connect the NF-A9 PWM fan to a CPU fan header and configure PWM control in the BIOS or via software. For increased cooling, fit the optional second NF-A9 PWM fan using the supplied clips to create a push/pull configuration.

Recommendations

Ensure full compatibility with your case and memory layout by checking the 95×95 mm footprint and 125 mm height before purchase. For quieter operation, configure fan PWM curves in BIOS or system software; use chromax anti-vibration pads to match your build colours if desired.
