Nordic walking-stokken Volven Volven carbon-rood model 0005580100003404, carbon schacht

Volven Volven carbon-red Nordic walking poles feature a carbon fibre shaft engineered for lightweight performance and efficient energy transfer during each stride. Designed for walking, fitness walks and recreational Nordic walking, these poles combine reduced weight with structural stiffness to support longer outings and more controlled technique. Ergonomic handles and adjustable wrist straps improve grip and stability while the slim carbon construction keeps overall pole weight low for reduced fatigue.

Advantages

The carbon fibre shaft delivers a high strength-to-weight ratio that reduces the effort required to swing the poles and improves responsiveness. Ergonomic handles and wrist straps provide secure contact and better control, helping maintain proper pole placement and rhythm. The poles are suitable for varied outdoor conditions and are compact enough for transport and storage when not in use.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

These poles are designed primarily for Nordic walking and general fitness use; they may lack features required for technical trekking such as heavy-duty tips, integrated shock absorbers or robust locking mechanisms for extreme load-bearing. Users planning extensive mountain hiking, carrying heavy backpacks or frequent rough-terrain use may require poles specifically built for trekking or mountaineering.

How to use

Select an appropriate pole length based on your height and walking style, ensuring wrists are comfortable when holding the ergonomic grips with arms slightly bent. Secure the wrist straps so the strap supports the pole push without relying solely on grip strength. Plant the pole tip behind you and push off to transfer energy through the carbon shaft with each stride, maintaining a rhythmic alternation of opposite arm and leg. After use, clean dirt from tips and grips and store poles in a dry place to preserve the carbon shaft and handle materials.
