Northwave Striker MTB-schoenen zand EU 44

Loose rocks, rooty climbs, and long days in the saddle demand footwear that balances stiffness with comfort. The Northwave Striker MTB shoes deliver that balance, offering efficient power transfer and all-day wearability for cross-country and trail riders.

Who is it for

Mountain bikers who want a performance-oriented shoe without the harsh feel of a full-carbon race slipper. The Striker suits XC racers, trail enthusiasts, and anyone who values a secure fit and reliable grip when the trail gets technical.

Main features

• X-Dial SLW3 closure system with a single micro-adjustable dial and an additional Velcro strap for a precise, even fit.
• XC 10 carbon composite sole with a stiffness index of 10 on the Northwave scale, tuned for efficient pedalling with just enough flex for hike-a-bike sections.
• Perforated synthetic upper with mesh inserts promotes airflow, keeping feet cool on hot climbs.
• Integrated heel system locks the foot in place, reducing slippage and hot spots.
• TPU tread inserts provide traction on loose surfaces and protect the sole from wear.
• Compatible with 2-bolt SPD cleats, the standard for mountain bike pedals.
