Olympia Microwave Motion Sensor MW 360, wit, 5,8 GHz, 360°-detectie, bereik 1-8 m, plafondmontage, 1200 W belasting

The Olympia MW 360 microwave motion sensor delivers reliable, invisible detection for automated lighting and load switching. Using high-frequency 5.8 GHz electromagnetic waves, it senses movement through thin walls, glass, and non-metallic partitions—without requiring a direct line of sight. Its 360° coverage and adjustable 1–8 metre radius make it ideal for corridors, stairwells, bathrooms, and open-plan areas where conventional PIR sensors fall short.

Advantages

Microwave technology penetrates obstacles and remains unaffected by heat sources, draughts, or ambient temperature changes. The sensor’s compact, flush-mount ceiling design blends discreetly into any interior. With adjustable time delay (10 seconds to 12 minutes) and light sensitivity (3–2000 lux), it adapts precisely to user habits and daylight conditions, reducing unnecessary energy consumption.

Suitable for

• Indoor corridors, hallways, and stairwells
• Bathrooms, WCs, and utility rooms
• Open-plan offices and meeting rooms
• Retail spaces and storage areas
• Any 220–240 V lighting or load circuit up to 1200 W

Recommendations

For best results, install the MW 360 on a ceiling at 2.2–4 m height, away from large metal surfaces and strong electromagnetic interference. Use the integrated potentiometers to fine-tune detection range, time delay, and lux threshold during commissioning. Always ensure the circuit is de-energised before installation and comply with local electrical regulations.
