Ooni 12 inch pizzaschep Ooni aluminium zwart glasvezelversterkte greep

The Ooni 12" Pizza Peel is a slim, lightweight peel designed to slide 12-inch pizzas in and out of Ooni pizza ovens with ease. Constructed from even, level aluminium with a black finish and fitted with a glass fiber reinforced nylon handle, it combines a low-profile blade for effortless transfer with a handle engineered for durability and control.

Advantages

The aluminium blade provides a smooth, flat surface that makes sliding, turning and retrieving pizzas simple and precise. Its lightweight construction reduces wrist strain during repeated use, while the glass fiber reinforced nylon handle offers heat resistance and reliable grip. The slim profile helps manoeuvre pizzas in and out of compact oven openings.

Suitable for

• Sliding 12-inch (305 mm) pizzas into and out of domestic and portable pizza ovens
• Preparing and transferring pizzas on worktops or peel boards
• Turning and retrieving pizzas during cooking

Key specifications

• Blade material: aluminium
• Handle material: glass fiber reinforced nylon
• Blade width: 305 mm
• Total length: 660 mm
• Finish: black
• Profile: slim, low-profile blade for easy sliding

How to use

Place the prepared pizza onto the peel near the handle, then slide the blade under the pizza using a quick but controlled motion so the crust rests on the flat surface. Use the long handle to guide the pizza into the oven and rotate or retrieve it as needed while cooking. After use, clean the aluminium blade with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary; avoid soaking the handle to preserve the glass fiber reinforced nylon.

Recommendations

For best results, lightly dust the peel with flour or fine semolina to reduce sticking when sliding raw pizza dough. Allow the peel to cool before cleaning and store in a dry place to maintain the handle and blade condition.
