Oorkappen Honeywell VeriShield VS 120 SNR 31 dB — gehoorbescherming

Honeywell VeriShield VS 120 ear muffs provide hearing protection with an SNR value of 31 dB, designed to reduce harmful ambient noise during industrial, construction and DIY tasks. The model features a padded headband and cushioned ear cups to improve comfort during extended wear. Compact and straightforward to use, these ear muffs offer a practical balance of attenuation and user comfort for routine noise protection needs.

Advantages

The ear muffs deliver an SNR 31 dB attenuation level to lower exposure to hazardous noise. Soft ear cushions and a padded headband distribute pressure evenly for longer wear without excessive discomfort. The design is lightweight and easy to put on and remove, supporting quick transitions between noisy and quiet environments. Materials are selected for basic durability in workshop and construction settings.

Suitable for

• Construction sites and roadwork where occupational noise is present
• Workshops using power tools, saws, grinders and compressors
• Maintenance and facility services with periodic high-noise tasks
• Home DIY projects such as sawing, drilling and lawn equipment operation

Key specifications

• SNR (Single Number Rating): 31 dB
• Over-ear (circumaural) ear cup design
• Padded headband for improved comfort
• Lightweight construction suitable for extended wear

How to use

Position the padded headband over the top of the head and place the ear cups over the ears so that the cushions form a seal against the head. Adjust the headband length so the ear cups sit snugly without excessive pressure. Use the ear muffs whenever exposed to noisy equipment or environments and remove them when noise has subsided. Inspect cushions and headband regularly and replace worn components to maintain effective attenuation.

Recommendations

For effective hearing protection, combine these ear muffs with other site controls such as engineering noise reduction and safe work practices. Ensure a proper seal by cleaning the ear cushions and adjusting the headband before each use. Replace ear cushions if torn or flattened to preserve the stated SNR performance.
