Oplaadbare knoopcel Varta V 80 H NiMH 80 mAh 1,2 V

Rechargeable Button Cell Battery Varta V 80 H NiMH 80 mAh 1.2 V is a compact, low-voltage rechargeable cell designed for devices where space is limited and reliable small-format power is required. The nickel-metal hydride chemistry delivers a nominal 80 mAh capacity at 1.2 V, providing consistent output for repeated charge and discharge cycles. This button cell is intended for applications that benefit from rechargeable power instead of single-use cells, reducing waste and frequency of replacements.

Advantages

The Varta V 80 H NiMH button cell offers stable voltage under typical load conditions and supports multiple recharge cycles, which lowers the total cost of ownership for devices with continuous or periodic low-power requirements. Its compact button form factor fits into constrained battery compartments and maintains safe operating characteristics typical of NiMH chemistry. The cell's construction is suitable for reliable memory backup and intermittent-use instruments where predictable performance and rechargeability are important.

Suitable for

• Wristwatches and small timepieces that accept rechargeable cells
• Medical devices and monitoring equipment with small battery compartments
• Sensors, remote controls, and wireless transmitters with low current draw
• Memory backup in electronic instruments and portable devices

How to use

Install the battery in the device following the polarity markings and the manufacturer's instructions for the device. Charge the Varta V 80 H only with chargers specified for NiMH rechargeable button cells or devices with an integrated charging circuit that supports NiMH chemistry. Avoid using chargers intended for other battery chemistries. Observe the device manufacturer's guidance for charging current and duration to preserve capacity and cycle life. When replacing the cell, ensure contacts are clean and free of corrosion to maintain good electrical connection.

Recommendations

To extend service life, perform regular controlled charging rather than frequent partial charges; store unused cells in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Dispose of worn or damaged cells in accordance with local regulations for rechargeable batteries.
