Optische AOC-kabel BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-LE-BO — SFP28 naar SFP28, 25 m, mintgroen

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-LE-BO is a direct-attach active optical cable with SFP28 connectors at both ends and a 25 m length. Designed for 25GbE and comparable high-speed links, this mint-coloured AOC provides a lightweight, plug-and-play optical connection for short-reach interconnects in racks and data center environments. The cable integrates active transceivers at each end to convert electrical signals to optical and back, enabling reliable multimode fiber transmission over 25 metres.

Advantages

This SFP28 to SFP28 active optical cable offers low weight (0.15 kg) and a compact form factor that simplifies cable management in dense deployments. Being MSA-compliant, it supports industry-standard SFP28 ports and is compatible with equipment that accepts SFP28 AOCs for 25 Gbit/s links. The integrated transmitter and receiver on each end eliminate the need for separate transceiver modules and provide consistent signal integrity across the full 25 m length.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch connections in top-of-rack and end-of-row installations
• Data center interconnects and high-density patching
• Short-reach 25GbE or comparable high-speed links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connectors: SFP28 to SFP28 (male)
• Supported line rate: up to 25 Gbit/s per link
• Transceiver type: active optical cable with integrated Tx/Rx
• Fiber type: multimode (integrated within AOC)
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Colour: mint

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your devices until the latch engages. Ensure both endpoints support SFP28 AOC modules and the intended 25G link speed. No separate transceiver installation or fiber termination is required. After connection, verify link status and configure network interfaces as required by your switches or servers. For safe handling, avoid tight bends in the cable and secure routing to prevent strain on the connector ends.

Recommendations

Use this BlueOptics SFP28 AOC for short-reach interconnects within a single equipment room or rack row. Maintain minimum bend radii as specified by standard AOC handling practices, keep connectors clean before insertion, and verify device compatibility with SFP28 active optical cables to ensure reliable 25GbE operation.
