Optische audiokabel ShiverPeaks 69014-0.5 – Toslink (4,0 mm) naar 3,5 mm, 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks optical audio cable 69014-0.5 converts a Toslink optical signal (4.0 mm plug) to a 3.5 mm audio connector over a 0.5 m length. It is intended for short-range connections between devices that provide a digital optical output—such as TVs, soundbars or media players—and equipment that accepts a 3.5 mm input. The compact cable length and small-diameter plugs enable discreet routing in tight AV setups and reduce excess slack in desktop or entertainment center installations.

Advantages

This Toslink-to-3.5 mm cable provides a direct optical-to-analog interface in a compact form factor, minimizing signal path complexity and space requirements. The 4.0 mm Toslink plug ensures a standardized optical connection while the 3.5 mm plug supports widespread device compatibility. At 0.5 m length the cable is suitable for short runs where minimal clutter and precise placement are required.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV optical output to a 3.5 mm input on external DACs or speakers
• Linking soundbars or media players with Toslink outputs to devices with 3.5 mm inputs
• Short-distance digital audio routing behind entertainment units or on desktops
• Temporary or portable AV setups requiring compact cabling

Key specifications

• Connector A: Toslink optical plug, 4.0 mm
• Connector B: 3.5 mm audio plug
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Signal type: optical digital (Toslink) to 3.5 mm analog interface
• Intended use: short-range audio connections and compact routing

How to use

Insert the 4.0 mm Toslink plug into the optical output on the source device until it seats securely. Insert the 3.5 mm plug into the target device’s audio input. Ensure both devices are powered off during connection to avoid transient signals, then power them on and select the appropriate input or output mode on each device. For reliable operation, avoid sharp bends near the Toslink connector and keep the cable free from heavy compression or kinking.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short, direct connections only; for longer distances or installations requiring signal conversion fidelity, consider a dedicated external DAC or longer optical cabling with appropriate converters. Avoid bending the optical connector or applying pressure to the cable near the Toslink end to maintain optimal signal transmission.
