Optische drive-beugel HP 746536-001 compatibel met HP slanke drives – intern reserveonderdeel

Internal optical disk carrier compatible with HP slim optical drives designed as a direct replacement part for notebooks and small form-factor systems that accept slimline optical units. This carrier provides the physical mounting, bezel alignment and connector positioning required to install a slim CD/DVD drive into compatible HP laptops or desktops. The part enables secure fixation and correct interface alignment so a compatible slim drive can read and write optical media once installed.

Advantages

The carrier is engineered to match the form factor and mounting points of common HP slim drives, offering a reliable mechanical fit and consistent bezel alignment. It preserves drive ventilation and cable routing paths while providing sturdy support to reduce vibration during disc access. As an internal replacement, it simplifies repair and refurbishment by restoring the original fit and function without modifying the host chassis.

Suitable for

• Repairing laptops and notebooks that use slimline optical drives
• Refurbishing or upgrading small form-factor PCs with slim optical units
• Replacing damaged or missing carriers to restore CD/DVD drive operation

Key specifications

• Form factor: slim internal optical drive carrier designed for 9.5 mm and similar slimline drive profiles
• Material: durable plastic and metal reinforcement points for mounting stability
• Compatibility: fits HP notebooks and small desktops that accept slim internal optical drives (mechanical/connector alignment compatible)
• Bezel alignment: supports correct front bezel positioning for flush fit with chassis
• Mounting: screw and clip points for secure fixation within the device chassis

How to use

Power off the host device and remove power and battery where applicable. Open the service or drive bay access panel according to the device service manual. Remove the defective or existing carrier following manufacturer instructions, then place the compatible slim optical drive into the replacement carrier, aligning mounting holes and connector positions. Secure the drive to the carrier with the proper screws, insert the assembled carrier into the chassis ensuring the bezel sits flush, and fasten the carrier using the original mounting screws or clips. Reconnect power and boot the system to verify drive recognition and optical media operation.

Recommendations

Handle the carrier and optical drive on a static-free surface and use appropriate screw types and torque to avoid stripping threads. Verify physical fit and connector alignment before tightening fasteners. Use this carrier only with compatible slim optical drives and compatible HP chassis to ensure reliable operation.
