Optische Toslink-adapter ShiverPeaks 69056 — Toslink-stekker naar Toslink-bus (optische audio)

Compact optical Toslink adapter by ShiverPeaks converts a Toslink plug into a Toslink socket, allowing continuation or redirection of fiber-optic digital audio connections. The passive adapter supports standard square optical connectors used in consumer and professional audio equipment, enabling connection between devices such as CD players, soundbars, DACs and AV receivers without signal conversion.

Advantages

The adapter offers a simple and space-saving solution to extend or reroute optical audio links without active electronics. Its passive design ensures transparent signal passage with no power requirement. The compact housing minimizes footprint and fits into tight installation spaces, while the standardized connector form factor maintains compatibility with common Toslink cables and ports.

Suitable for

• Extending or adapting existing Toslink fiber-optic audio cables
• Connecting audio sources like CD/DVD players, game consoles, or media players to soundbars and AV receivers
• Temporary or permanent installations in home theater and professional audio setups
• Situations where a short adapter or direction change of the optical cable is required

Key specifications

• Connector conversion: Toslink plug to Toslink socket (optical)
• Passive optical adapter, no power required
• Compatible with standard square optical (Toslink) connectors
• Compact housing designed for small installation spaces
• Suitable for digital audio signals over fiber-optic links

How to use

Insert the Toslink plug of an existing optical cable into the adapter’s Toslink socket, then connect the adapter’s Toslink plug into the device’s optical input or output. Ensure connectors are aligned and gently seated to avoid damage to the optical ferrule. For best performance, keep the optical connectors clean and free from dust or debris before making the connection.

Recommendations

Handle optical connectors by the housing and avoid touching the fiber tip. Store unused caps on connectors when disconnected and avoid tight cable bends near the adapter to prevent signal loss.
