Optische Toslink-kabel ShiverPeaks 69004-0.5 — 0,5 m, 4,0 mm optisch digitale audio

Optical Toslink cable ShiverPeaks 69004-0.5 is a 0.5 m digital audio connection with a 4.0 mm jacket diameter designed to link devices that support optical S/PDIF. The cable transmits stereo PCM and compressed multichannel audio between sources and sinks such as TVs, soundbars, AV receivers and DACs. Its optical transmission offers immunity to electromagnetic interference and ground loop noise, making it suitable for short-distance digital audio connections in home entertainment and professional setups.

Advantages

The cable’s optical fiber link eliminates susceptibility to RF and EMI, ensuring stable signal transfer in environments with multiple electronic devices. The compact 4.0 mm jacket provides flexibility and convenient routing behind furniture or inside AV cabinets. A 0.5 m length reduces excess slack for tidy installations and minimizes signal loss over short runs. The standardized Toslink connectors ensure broad compatibility with consumer audio equipment that supports optical S/PDIF.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to a soundbar or home theatre system
• Linking a CD player, DAC or streamer to an AV receiver
• Short-run optical digital audio connections in living rooms or media closets
• Setups where immunity to electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Length: 0.5 m
• Jacket diameter: 4.0 mm
• Connector type: Toslink optical plug to Toslink optical plug
• Signal: Optical S/PDIF digital audio (stereo PCM and supported compressed surround)
• Construction: Single optical fiber core with protective jacket for short-distance transmission

How to use

Insert each Toslink plug into the optical output of the source device and the optical input of the destination device, ensuring the connector keys align with the port shape. Verify both devices are set to use the optical audio interface in their audio settings. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and do not bend the cable beyond its minimum bend radius to maintain signal integrity. For troubleshooting, confirm connectors are free of dust and that both devices support the same audio format.

Recommendations

For best results, use this 0.5 m cable where devices are in close proximity—behind a TV and soundbar or within the same AV cabinet—and keep the optical ports protected from dust. If you require longer runs or support for advanced formats not carried by S/PDIF, consider alternative connection types such as HDMI.
