Optische Toslink-kabel ShiverPeaks 69004-5.0 4,0 mm, 5 m lengte

Optical Toslink Cable ShiverPeaks 69004-5.0 4.0 mm, 5 m length is a digital optical audio cable designed to transmit PCM and multichannel digital audio between devices with Toslink ports. The cable features a 4.0 mm core diameter and a 5 meter length, providing a fiber‑optic link that removes electrical interference and ground loop noise, enabling a reliable optical connection between AV receivers, soundbars, CD/DVD/Blu‑ray players and televisions.

Advantages

The optical construction eliminates susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and prevents ground loop hum common with electrical connections. A 4.0 mm core diameter supports stable optical signal transmission over the 5 m length, reducing the risk of signal attenuation in typical home and small studio setups. The cable uses standard Toslink connectors on both ends for broad compatibility and easy plug‑and‑play installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting AV receivers to soundbars or TVs for digital audio output
• Linking CD, DVD or Blu‑ray players to home theatre systems
• Transferring PCM and multichannel audio in living rooms and small studios
• Replacing noisy or interference‑prone analog audio links with an optical connection

Key specifications

• Cable type: Toslink optical (fiber‑optic) audio cable
• Core diameter: 4.0 mm
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: Toslink connector on both ends (plug‑to‑plug)
• Audio formats supported: PCM and multichannel digital audio
• Immunity: not affected by electromagnetic interference or ground loop noise

How to use

Insert one Toslink connector into the optical output port of the source device (for example a CD or Blu‑ray player) and connect the other end to the optical input of the receiver or soundbar. Ensure both connectors are aligned with the receiving ports and push gently until seated. Configure the source and receiver devices to use optical output/input in their audio settings; select PCM or the appropriate multichannel passthrough depending on the equipment. Avoid sharp bends in the cable and keep the cable free from strong compressive forces near the connectors to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable signal quality, avoid routing the cable near high‑voltage power lines or heavy machinery. Keep connectors covered when not in use to prevent dust ingress. If longer distances or specific format support (e.g., high‑bitrate or advanced lossless formats) are required, verify device compatibility and consider alternative connections such as HDMI where supported.
