Oriëntatielicht Merten MEG3901-0006, LED, groene behuizing, rood licht, AC 100–230 V

Merten MEG3901-0006 is an orientation light equipped with an LED light source, designed to provide visible guidance in corridors, stairwells and public areas. The unit features a green plastic housing with a red light output and operates from AC mains within a voltage range of 100–230 V. Its compact design and low power consumption make it suitable for continuous operation where clear, energy-efficient orientation lighting is required.

Advantages

The LED technology delivers long operational life and reduced energy consumption compared with conventional lamps while maintaining consistent light output. The contrasting combination of a green housing and red light output improves visibility and recognition in various ambient light conditions. The wide input voltage range supports installation on different AC supply systems without additional transformers or converters. The compact form factor and standardized mounting allow integration into existing lighting circuits and enclosures.

Suitable for

• Corridors and passageways in residential and commercial buildings
• Stairwells and emergency escape routes
• Public spaces such as lobbies, waiting areas and service corridors
• Industrial or utility rooms requiring visible orientation markers

Key specifications

• Light source: LED
• Housing colour: green
• Light colour/output: red
• Input voltage: AC 100–230 V
• Typical use: orientation and indication lighting
• Power consumption: low (LED based)

How to use

Install the orientation light on a vertical surface following local electrical regulations and ensuring the mains supply is switched off before connection. Connect the device to an AC supply within the 100–230 V range and secure the housing to the mounting point. Position the unit so the red light is clearly visible along the intended route; adjust mounting height and orientation to avoid glare and ensure effective guidance. Routine visual inspection is recommended to confirm operation and cleanliness of the light diffuser.

Recommendations

Use the unit as part of a coordinated orientation lighting scheme: place units at regular intervals along routes and near stair landings or exits to provide consistent visual cues. Ensure compatibility with building wiring and, where applicable, emergency power supplies or automatic switching controls to maintain function during power transitions.
