Clean drinking water isn't guaranteed when you're off the grid. Streams, lakes, and springs can hide bacteria, protozoa, and microplastics that ruin an adventure. The Origin Outdoors Dawson 1 L Gravity Water Filter turns questionable water into safe drinking water in minutes — no pumping, no chemicals, no boiling.

Tips

Pre-filter cloudy water through a cloth or coffee filter to keep the membrane clean longer. After each trip, backflush with clean water and let it dry fully before storing. Never allow the filter to freeze. Replace the filter when you notice the flow rate dropping — typically after 1,500 liters.
