Origin Storage Origin vervangende UPS-batterijcartridge RBC2 voor APC Back-UPS Back-UPS Pro PowerShield

Replacement UPS battery cartridge origin storage RBC2-OS for Back-UPS (RBC2 compatible) is a direct-replacement battery module designed to restore backup runtime and safe shutdown capability for UPS units that accept RBC2-style cartridges. This cartridge provides the electrical and mechanical compatibility needed to swap out a depleted internal battery quickly, enabling uninterrupted protection for connected equipment in residential and small office environments. The product fits into the existing battery compartment and re-establishes the UPS’s ability to supply short-term power during outages and to signal orderly shutdown to connected systems.

Advantages

The origin storage RBC2-OS cartridge offers an uncomplicated installation process and a form factor matching common RBC2-compatible Back-UPS models, reducing the need for technical service calls. By replacing only the battery cartridge rather than the entire UPS, the cartridge helps lower maintenance costs and extends the useful service life of the UPS unit. The design prioritizes safe voltage and current delivery to maintain UPS performance and reliable battery backup for critical devices.

Suitable for

• Home desktop computers and entertainment systems that require short-duration backup power
• Small office equipment such as routers, modems and network switches needing graceful shutdown
• Point-of-sale terminals and cash registers in small retail environments
• General UPS maintenance where RBC2-type replacement cartridges are specified

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Designed for Back-UPS models that accept RBC2-style replacement cartridges
• Form factor: Cartridge-type module sized to fit RBC2 battery compartments
• Function: Restores internal UPS battery backup capability and orderly shutdown signaling
• Intended use environment: Indoor, dry, temperature-controlled locations typical for home and small office UPS units

How to use

Power down and unplug the UPS from the mains and disconnect all connected loads if required by the UPS manual. Remove the old RBC2-type cartridge following the unit manufacturer’s instructions, then insert the origin storage RBC2-OS cartridge until it seats securely in the battery compartment. Reconnect the UPS to mains power and allow the unit to charge the new cartridge fully according to the UPS charging indicator or the manufacturer’s recommended charge time. After charging, reconnect critical loads and verify normal UPS operation and runtime as indicated by the UPS status LEDs or management software.

Recommendations

Use the replacement cartridge only in UPS models that specify RBC2-compatible battery modules. Store and operate the cartridge within the UPS manufacturer’s recommended temperature range and avoid exposure to moisture or extreme heat. Dispose of the depleted battery in accordance with local regulations for battery recycling. Periodically test the UPS and battery runtime to ensure expected backup performance.
