Overspanningsbeveiliging Belkin SRB001CA2M 4 AC-stopcontacten 900 J wit 2 m

The Belkin SRB001CA2M surge protector provides basic surge protection for home and office electronics. It includes four AC outlets in a compact white housing and a 2 m power cable with a Type E plug. With a surge energy rating of 900 J, this unit is designed to absorb transient voltage spikes and reduce the risk of damage to connected devices such as computers, monitors, printers and consumer electronics.

Advantages

The form factor combines four widely spaced AC outlets in a low-profile design that fits on desks or behind entertainment units. A 2 m cable offers flexibility in outlet placement without the need for additional extension cords. The Type E outlet and plug configuration ensures compatibility with equipment and receptacles using this standard. The 900 J surge energy rating provides measurable protection against short-duration power surges and voltage transients.

Suitable for

• Home computer workstation — desktop PC, monitor and speakers
• Home office setups with a printer and modem/router
• Living room AV components such as set-top boxes and game consoles
• Small office desks for telephone chargers and desk lamps

Key specifications

• Number of AC outlets: 4
• Surge energy absorption: 900 J
• Cable length: 2 m
• Plug and outlet type: Type E
• Color: White

How to use

Place the surge protector on a stable surface or position it behind furniture so outlets remain accessible. Plug the unit into a compatible wall socket using the attached Type E plug. Connect devices to the AC outlets, ensuring the combined power draw does not exceed the rating of the wall circuit. Avoid plugging high-current appliances such as space heaters or refrigerators into the surge protector. Periodically inspect the cable and housing for visible damage and replace the unit if any deterioration is found.

Recommendations

For optimal protection, connect critical electronics such as computers, routers and external hard drives directly to the surge protector and avoid daisy-chaining multiple surge protectors or extension cords. If frequent or severe electrical storms occur in your area, consider a unit with a higher surge energy rating or a whole-home surge protection solution.
