OWC Archive Pro LTO-9 Thunderbolt tapestreamer, 18 TB native / 45 TB gecomprimeerd (OWCTBLTMP90000H)

The OWC Archive Pro LTO-8 tape drive delivers enterprise-grade archival storage with the speed and simplicity of Thunderbolt 3. Unlike bulky autoloaders or slow USB tape drives, this desktop unit connects directly to your Mac or PC and streams data at up to 360 MB/s native — making it one of the fastest single-drive LTO solutions for creative professionals and small studios.

Highlights

• LTO-8 technology: 12 TB native, up to 30 TB compressed per cartridge
• Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy-chaining and maximum bandwidth
• Hardware AES-256 encryption for secure offsite storage
• LTFS support for drag-and-drop file access like a hard drive
• Includes Thunderbolt 3 cable and trial software for archive workflows

In daily use

Connect the Archive Pro to any Thunderbolt 3-equipped Mac or Windows PC and it appears as a high-speed tape device. Use the bundled YoYotta LTFS trial to mount tapes as volumes, or integrate with Archiware P5 for automated backup and archiving. The internal fan keeps the drive cool during long backup sessions, while the external power adapter ensures stable operation even when daisy-chaining other devices.
