Packband Tesa tesapack Solid and Strong PP 66 m × 50 mm met afroller

Tesa tesapack Solid and Strong PP packing tape is a 66 m × 50 mm polypropylene tape supplied with a handheld dispenser for manual carton sealing. Intended for everyday shipping, storage and moving tasks, the tape combines a tear-resistant backing with an adhesive formulated to adhere to corrugated cardboard and common packing surfaces. The dispenser is designed for fast single-handed application, improving packing speed and ensuring a consistent tape path.

Advantages

The polypropylene backing delivers high tensile strength and resistance to splitting during application and transport, while the pressure-sensitive adhesive provides immediate tack and secure adhesion to paper and cardboard. Supplied with a handheld dispenser, the kit reduces preparation time and enables precise tape placement. The 50 mm width covers carton seams effectively, and the 66 m length offers multiple seals per roll for typical e-commerce or warehouse packing volumes.

Suitable for

• Sealing corrugated cardboard cartons for shipment
• Packing boxes for moving and long-term storage
• Sealing parcel and postal packages
• General warehouse packing and dispatch operations

Key specifications

• Material: polypropylene (PP) backing
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for paper/cardboard
• Length: 66 m per roll
• Width: 50 mm
• Delivery: supplied with a handheld tape dispenser for manual application

How to use

Fit the tape roll into the handheld dispenser following the dispenser manufacturer’s alignment marks, thread the tape over the roller and cut using the dispenser blade. Position the tape at the start of the carton seam and press down while pulling the dispenser along the seam to apply a smooth, even tape strip. Apply firm pressure along the taped seam to ensure full contact between adhesive and carton surface. Replace the roll when tape supply is exhausted and keep spare rolls in original packaging to prevent dust contamination.

Recommendations

For best results, use the tape on clean, dry cardboard at typical room temperatures. Avoid applying to dusty, damp or oily surfaces. When sealing heavy or overfilled cartons, apply two parallel strips along the main seam or reinforce corners as needed. Store unused rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive performance.
