Patchbox netwerkkabel Cat6a U/FTP (STP) geel 1,8 m met RJ-45-stekkers

PATCHBOX® Cat6a U/FTP (STP) networking cable, 1.8 m long, with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. The cable is designed for use in PATCHBOX® modular cassette systems and conventional network installations, providing shielded twisted-pair transmission that supports high-speed Ethernet up to 10 000 Mbit/s and meets Cat6a channel requirements.

Advantages

The shielded U/FTP (STP) construction reduces external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in dense or electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable connectivity and corrosion resistance. The 1.8 m length suits connections between patch panels, switches and wall outlets in server cabinets or office racks. The cable is backward compatible with lower-category infrastructure and is suitable for use with PATCHBOX® cassettes and frames.

Suitable for

• Connecting patch panels to switches in server cabinets
• Linking switches to workstations or access points
• High-density cabinet cabling with PATCHBOX® cassettes and frames

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (10G Ethernet capable)
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 1.8 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Data rate: up to 10 000 Mbit/s
• PoE capability: supports PoE and higher PoE++ classes depending on system
• Standards: designed for ISO/IEC 11801 channel Class Ea and ANSI/TIA-568 Cat6a channel usage

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on the PATCHBOX® cassette, patch panel, switch or workstation. Route the cable through the cabinet or rack to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the installation environment. For installations using PATCHBOX® cassettes, insert the cable into the cassette channel as instructed by the cassette manual so the connectors seat securely and cable management is preserved.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this shielded Cat6a cable in combination with shielded PATCHBOX® cassettes and a grounded PATCHBOX® frame. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain proper bend radius. Verify compatibility with connected equipment for PoE power classes before deployment.
