Patchkabel Equip Cat.6 U/UTP RJ-45 7,5 m zwart

The equip® Cat.6 U/UTP Patch Cable is a 7.5 m network cable with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold plating for improved conductivity. Designed for 10GBase-T cabling technology, this Cat.6 U/UTP cable provides higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin to support reliable, high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s in demanding network environments. The black jacket offers an understated appearance suitable for office or data-centre setups.

Advantages

The cable uses Category 6 construction and U/UTP (unshielded with overall braid possible) cabling technology to reduce interference and maintain signal integrity. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact quality and corrosion resistance. With a length of 7.5 m and a lightweight build (0.223 kg), it provides flexibility for typical patching runs without excessive cable slack.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections (10GBase-T up to specified distances)
• Patch panels and wall outlets in office and data-centre environments
• Workstation or network equipment interconnects requiring stable signal quality

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold plated
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat.6 U/UTP)
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Product colour: Black
• Weight: 0.223 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your switch, router or patch panel and the other plug to the target device or outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat.6 U/UTP cable for short to medium patch runs within office and data-centre racks and avoid routing alongside high-voltage power cables. Verify device and switch compatibility for 10G speeds and test connections after installation.
