Patchkabel Equip Cat.6A S/FTP RJ-45 1,0 m oranje

The equip® Cat.6A S/FTP Patch Cord is made from quality materials and tested to meet industry standards. Designed for high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s, this Cat.6A S/FTP cable provides improved bandwidth and a better signal-to-noise margin to support demanding network environments and 10GBase-T applications. The 1.0 m orange cable includes gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure reliable connectivity.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding minimises crosstalk and external interference, enabling more stable data transmission. The Cat.6A specification supports 10GBase-T performance and higher bandwidth compared with lower categories. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion, while the 1 m length and bright orange colour simplify cable management and identification in patch panels and racks.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network connections
• Server rooms and data centres
• Patch panels and switch-to-switch or switch-to-server links
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A S/FTP
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbit/s)
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated
• Length: 1 m
• Colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.039 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network switch, router or patch panel and the other to the target device (server, workstation or another switch). Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking tab clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat.6A S/FTP patch cord in structured cabling installations requiring 10 Gbit/s throughput; avoid tight cable loops and maintain proper bend radius. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if shielding or connector integrity is compromised.
