Patchkabel Telegärtner MP8 FS 600 LSZH 0,5 m zwart

Patch Cord Telegärtner MP8 FS 600 LSZH 0.5m Black is a 0.5 m networking cable designed for short links and patching in restricted spaces. The cable uses a Li02YSCH 4x2 construction with PiMF (pairs in metal foil) and stranded AWG 27 conductors (7x0.14 mm). The conductors are insulated with PE (Ø 1.04 ±0.05 mm). The assembly includes an overall aluminium foil shield and a tin-plated copper braid for improved screening. The outer jacket diameter is 5.7 ±0.2 mm and the cable is manufactured in low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) material. Colour coding follows ISO/IEC 11801.

Advantages

The patch cord provides robust shielding through combined aluminium foil and tin-plated copper braid, ensuring reliable protection against electromagnetic interference. Its stranded AWG 27 conductors and PiMF pair arrangement support flexible handling in patch panels and device-to-device links. The LSZH outer jacket reduces hazardous emissions in case of fire, while the compact 0.5 m length is suitable for neat cable routing in dense installations. Durability for mating cycles is greater than 750.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches, patch panels and active devices in racks
• Short point-to-point connections in server rooms and telecommunications closets
• Connections in confined spaces where a compact LSZH cable is required

How to use

Connect one end of the Patch Cord Telegärtner MP8 FS 600 LSZH to the source port and the other end to the destination port, ensuring secure seating in the connectors. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain bend radii appropriate for the cable diameter. For installations in racks or patch panels, label both ends for easy identification and verify link operation after connection.

Recommendations

Use the 0.5 m Telegärtner patch cord for short-distance interconnections in controlled environments such as server rooms and telecom closets. Avoid excessive bending and repeated mechanical strain beyond normal patching; store unused cords coiled loosely to preserve shielding and conductor integrity.
