Pendant-arm-montage Avigilon WLMT-1021, 20 cm pendelverlenging voor camera's

The Avigilon WLMT-1021 pendant arm mount is a 20 cm pendant extension designed to suspend surveillance cameras from ceilings or overhangs. It provides a fixed-height solution that integrates with compatible Avigilon mounting systems to position cameras lower than the mounting surface, improving sightlines and installation flexibility in indoor or sheltered outdoor environments. The mount is intended for professional surveillance installations in retail, office, transit, and public spaces where controlled camera placement is required.

Advantages

The pendant arm mount offers a compact, rigid extension that maintains camera alignment and minimizes sway. Its standardized length gives predictable field-of-view adjustments compared with ceiling-mounted installations, and compatibility with Avigilon mounts ensures straightforward mechanical and cable routing integration. The unit is suitable for environments that need a discreet, durable pendant solution without the complexity of adjustable-height hardware.

Suitable for

• Lowering cameras to improve sightlines in retail stores and shop floors
• Office and lobby surveillance where ceiling-mounts are impractical
• Protected outdoor areas such as covered entrances or walkways
• Transit stations or public spaces requiring fixed pendant camera positions

Key specifications

• Extension length: 20 cm
• Mount type: pendant arm for ceiling or overhang installation
• Compatibility: designed to integrate with Avigilon mounting systems
• Intended environment: indoor and sheltered outdoor use
• Material characteristics: rigid construction for stable camera positioning

How to use

Install the pendant arm by fastening it to a compatible Avigilon ceiling or overhang mount following the mounting system's installation instructions. Route camera power and data cabling through the pendant arm as permitted by the host mount design, secure the camera to the arm flange, and verify alignment and focus from the mounted position. Ensure all fasteners are tightened to the torque values recommended by the camera and mount manufacturers and that the installation site provides adequate support for the combined weight of arm and camera.

Recommendations

Use the pendant extension in sheltered locations or indoors to protect the mount and camera from direct weather exposure. Confirm compatibility with the specific Avigilon mount used and follow local building and electrical codes when routing cables and securing the assembly. For areas with vibration or air movement, verify image stability after installation and consider additional fastening or damping if necessary.
