Petzl William Triact-Lock zwarte peervormige aluminium karabiner

The Petzl William Triact-Lock carabiner is a pear-shaped aluminum connector built for maximum versatility and security in climbing, belaying, and rope work. Its automatic triple-action Triact-Lock system locks the gate without manual intervention, reducing the risk of accidental opening, while the large gate opening and spacious basket accommodate multiple items, belay devices, and wide knots like the Munter hitch.

Advantages

The Triact-Lock mechanism requires a three-step opening sequence (lift, twist, and pull) that prevents unintentional gate opening, yet remains easy to operate with one hand. The keylock nose design eliminates snagging on ropes, slings, or gear loops, allowing smooth clipping and unclipping even under load. Constructed from lightweight yet durable aluminum with an anodized finish, this carabiner resists corrosion and wear, making it suitable for demanding environments. Its pear shape optimizes strength distribution and accommodates a wide range of belay devices and knots, enhancing safety and convenience.
