Slimme lamp Philips G93 Globe E27 — LED 7 W, Bluetooth & Zigbee, 95×150 mm

Philips G93 globe E27 smart bulb is an LED lamp designed for standard E27 fittings. It delivers efficient lighting while supporting both Bluetooth and Zigbee wireless interfaces for direct control from compatible devices or integration into home automation systems. Consuming 7 W during operation and about 0.5 W in standby, the lamp measures 95 mm in diameter and 150 mm in height, making it suitable for a range of globe-style fixtures where uniform, diffuse light is required.

Advantages

The bulb combines low power consumption with a globe form factor that provides broad light distribution. Dual wireless interfaces (Bluetooth and Zigbee) offer flexible control options: quick direct control from a mobile device via Bluetooth and reliable networked automation through Zigbee hubs. The E27 cap ensures compatibility with common sockets, and the LED technology provides long operating life compared with incandescent alternatives.

Suitable for

• General room lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas
• Globe-style pendant fixtures and table lamps with an E27 socket
• Smart home setups requiring Bluetooth control or Zigbee integration
• Areas where even, diffuse illumination is preferred

How to use

Install the bulb into a compatible E27 socket while the fixture power is switched off. After installation, restore power and use a compatible mobile app or Zigbee gateway to pair the bulb. For direct control without a hub, enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and follow the Philips app pairing instructions. For integration into automated scenes and multi-device control, connect the bulb to a Zigbee hub and configure it within your smart home platform. Adjust brightness and schedule operation through the chosen control interface.

Recommendations

Use the bulb in fixtures that provide adequate ventilation and avoid fully enclosed luminaires unless specified by the fixture manufacturer. When integrating into a Zigbee network, place the bulb within reliable range of the hub or use additional Zigbee devices to extend the mesh. For optimal lifetime and performance, operate the bulb within standard household voltage ranges and avoid frequent manual on/off switching beyond normal usage patterns.
