Pijptang Rothenberger Super S 2,50 cm (1 inch) — chroom-vanadiumstaal

Adjustable pipe wrench Rothenberger Super s with 2.50 cm (1") jaw capacity is made of chrome vanadium steel for enhanced strength and corrosion resistance. The tool is designed to grip and turn pipes, fittings and fasteners in plumbing, maintenance and installation work. Its adjustable jaw opens to 2.50 cm (1"), providing a compact option for confined spaces while delivering the leverage and durability expected from a professional-grade hand tool.

Advantages

The chrome vanadium steel construction offers high tensile strength and improved wear resistance compared with standard steel, while the precision-machined jaws ensure secure grip and reduced slippage on round surfaces. The adjustable mechanism allows quick size changes to suit different pipe diameters, and the compact 2.50 cm (1") opening makes the wrench suitable for tight access areas. The overall design balances weight and durability to support repeated professional use and occasional DIY tasks.

Suitable for

• Gripping and turning metal and plastic pipes in plumbing repairs
• Assembling and disassembling pipe fittings and couplings
• Maintenance work in confined or hard-to-reach spaces
• General mechanical and installation tasks requiring controlled torque

Key specifications

• Jaw capacity: 2.50 cm (1")
• Material: chrome vanadium steel
• Type: adjustable pipe wrench
• Typical application: plumbing, maintenance, installation
• Finish: corrosion-resistant surface treatment

How to use

Select a jaw opening that matches the pipe or fitting diameter, then place the wrench jaws squarely on the workpiece. Tighten the adjustable mechanism until the jaws firmly contact the surface, taking care to align the wrench so force is applied along the handle axis. Apply steady pressure to turn the pipe or fitting; release and readjust the jaw as needed for successive operations. Regularly inspect the jaws and adjustment threads for wear and clean off debris to maintain reliable operation.

Recommendations

Use with appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Avoid using the wrench as a hammer or lever beyond its intended capacity. For long-term performance, keep the tool clean and lightly lubricate the adjustment thread; store in a dry place to minimize corrosion.
