Pistoolgreepboor Metabo PowerMaxx BS Basic 1400 RPM, zwart, groen

The Metabo PowerMaxx BS Basic is a pistol grip drill designed for portable and straightforward drilling tasks. It is powered by a 10.8 V Lithium‑Ion battery and delivers a maximum idle speed of 1400 RPM. The compact chuck supports up to 10 mm bits and allows drilling in wood up to 18 mm and in steel up to 10 mm. The tool features a two‑gear transmission and a compact black and green housing tailored for handheld operation.

Advantages

The cordless design provides mobility on jobsites and in confined spaces where mains power is not available. A maximum idle speed of 1400 RPM combined with two gears offers control over torque and speed for different materials. The lightweight pistol grip form factor reduces user fatigue during extended use and improves handling for one‑handed drilling and screwdriving. The compatible chuck size accepts standard 10 mm round and hex shank bits, facilitating quick bit changes and routine tasks.

Suitable for

• General drilling in wood and light construction materials
• Drilling small holes in metal and thin steel sheets
• Assembly and disassembly of furniture and fixtures
• Maintenance tasks where portability is required

Key specifications

How to use

Charge the Lithium‑Ion battery fully before initial use and insert it into the drill according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Select an appropriate drill bit for the material and secure it in the chuck, tightening until it is held firmly. Choose the suitable gear for the task: lower gear for higher torque and material penetration, higher gear for faster drilling in softer materials. Apply steady pressure with the pistol grip while maintaining alignment between the bit and the work surface. After drilling, release the trigger and allow the bit to stop before removing it from the hole or changing the bit.

Recommendations

For safe and effective results, use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves, clamp workpieces when possible, and select drill bits rated for the material. Avoid overloading the drill by using the correct gear and moderate pressure; intermittent operation can help prevent overheating. Store the tool and battery in a dry place and follow battery charging and disposal guidelines from the manufacturer.
