Philips Functional Mauve is a compact round ceiling light with an integrated 16 W LED module designed for indoor ambient lighting. The white fixture measures 320 × 72 mm and operates on 220–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz. The LED is non-changeable and provides continuous, instant-on illumination with a warm color temperature suitable for bedrooms and other living spaces. The luminaire includes a built-in motion sensor that switches the light on automatically when movement is detected, helping to reduce unnecessary energy use while providing convenient hands-free operation.

Advantages

The low-profile round design fits close to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with limited ceiling height. How to use

Install the ceiling light on a suitable indoor ceiling surface following the manufacturer’s installation instructions and local electrical regulations. Connect the fixture to a 220–240 V AC supply and secure the mounting to ensure stable placement. Once powered, the integrated LED provides immediate illumination; the built-in motion sensor will switch the light on automatically when it detects movement within its coverage area and turn it off according to its internal timing settings. No separate lamp replacement is required for the integrated LED.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, mount the fixture at a height and location where the motion sensor has a clear line of sight to the area to be monitored. Use the Philips Functional Mauve in indoor spaces where warm white, permanent ambient light and automatic activation are beneficial. Avoid installation in damp or outdoor locations due to IP20 rating.
