plakband 3M 4651255 transparant 12 mm x 55 m

3M 4651255 Transparent 12mm x 55m is a clear adhesive tape designed for general-purpose bonding on metal and wood surfaces. With a 12 mm width and a 55 m roll length, this tape offers a thin profile of 0.05 mm that provides reliable adhesion while remaining visually discreet on joins and repairs. The transparent film and adhesive formulation make it suitable for applications where a low-profile finish is desired.

Advantages

The tape combines a narrow width with extended roll length, reducing the need for frequent replacements and supporting precise application in tight or narrow areas. Its 0.05 mm thickness ensures minimal build-up on edges and seams, while the adhesive is formulated to perform well on both metal and wood surfaces, offering durable bonds for everyday tasks. The transparency maintains aesthetics and helps prevent visual obstruction of underlying materials.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, oil or loose particles before applying the tape. Cut or tear the required length from the roll and press the tape firmly onto the substrate, smoothing from the center outward to remove air pockets. For best adhesion on wood or metal, apply with steady pressure and allow the adhesive to set for several minutes before subjecting the joint to stress. To remove, peel slowly at a low angle; removal ease depends on the substrate and exposure time.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture to preserve adhesive performance. For load-bearing or permanent structural joints, consider using a tape or adhesive formulated specifically for heavy-duty applications.
