Platte RJ45-ethernetkabel ShiverPeaks 75511-SL0.5 Cat.7 slank grijs, 0,5 m

Flat RJ45 Ethernet cable ShiverPeaks 75511-SL0.5 Cat.7 Slim Gray, 0.5 m is a low-profile network patch cable designed for short connections where space and concealment matter. The cable implements Cat7 performance characteristics in a flat, slim housing and terminates in standard RJ45 plugs to connect routers, switches, PCs and other Ethernet devices. Its gray color and narrow profile make it suitable for routing along baseboards, under carpets or behind furniture while keeping a discrete appearance.

Advantages

The flat construction reduces thickness and improves flexibility for tight routing paths, while Cat7-grade design supports higher frequency signaling suitable for Gigabit and multi-gigabit networks. RJ45 connectors provide universal compatibility with Ethernet ports. The short 0.5 m length minimizes excess cable in local setups and reduces potential signal attenuation for short runs. The cable’s slim profile and neutral gray finish are intended to blend into home and office environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting a router to a modem or switch across short distances
• Linking a PC or workstation to a nearby network socket
• Concealed routing under carpets, along skirting boards or behind furniture
• Temporary or permanent connections where minimal cable bulk is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7-class cable suitable for high-frequency Ethernet
• Length: 0.5 m
• Form factor: flat / slim profile for low clearance routing
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends for standard Ethernet ports
• Color: gray
• Typical use: short-range patch cable for indoor installations

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks. Use the 0.5 m cable for direct connections between devices located close to each other, such as a router and switch or a PC and wall outlet. Route the flat cable along the desired path, pressing it into gaps along skirting boards or sliding it beneath carpets where appropriate. Verify link lights on connected equipment to confirm a proper connection.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends or repeated folding of the flat cable at the connector area. Keep the cable away from heavy foot traffic when routed under carpets and do not expose it to outdoor conditions or temperatures outside typical indoor ranges. For longer runs or installations requiring additional shielding or weather resistance, select a cable specified for those conditions.
