Platte telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks 76119-50 — 8-aderig, 50 m, wit

Flat telephone cable ShiverPeaks 76119-50 — 8-wire, 50 m, white is a flat-profile internal cable designed for telephony and low-voltage voice/data signalling. The eight conductors support multiple analogue lines or combined voice and simple data connections. The cable's slim, flexible construction allows routing under carpets, along skirting boards or inside small channels in residential and office environments without creating noticeable bumps.

Advantages

The flat design reduces height and improves concealment when installed under floor coverings or along trims. Eight insulated conductors provide capacity for several parallel lines or paired voice/data circuits while maintaining clear separation between pairs. The white jacket gives a neutral appearance that blends with typical interior finishes. The cable is lightweight and bendable, making it easier to route around corners and through narrow pathways compared with round multi-core cables.

Suitable for

• Wiring landline telephones and analogue PSTN connections
• Connecting fax machines, modems or simple voice/data devices
• Discrete routing under carpets and along skirting boards in homes and offices
• Short-run internal extensions and patching of telephone outlets

Key specifications

• Number of conductors: 8 (four twisted pairs)
• Length: 50 m
• Profile: flat, low-height construction for tight spaces
• Conductor insulation: individual insulated cores for pair separation
• Colour: white outer jacket
• Intended use: internal telephony and low-voltage signalling

How to use

Strip the outer jacket carefully to expose the insulated conductors without nicking the cores. Terminate each conductor in accordance with the target equipment or patch panel wiring scheme, observing correct pair assignment for single or multiple lines. When running the cable under carpets or along skirting boards, lay it flat and avoid tight creases; use adhesive cable clips or flat trunking to secure the cable and maintain a tidy appearance. Keep the cable away from mains power cables to reduce the potential for interference.

Recommendations

For reliable connections, use proper modular plugs or terminal blocks compatible with analog telephony; avoid excessive bending radii and do not expose the cable to moisture or direct sunlight. For installations requiring higher data rates or external exposure, consider an appropriate cable type designed for those conditions.
