PoE-injector Extralink Gigabit 4-poorts, 4x 1000Mb/s RJ45, 48V, blauw/zwart

Extralink Gigabit 4-Port PoE Injector supplies data and power over existing Ethernet cabling to compatible network devices. The compact unit provides four RJ45 ports with 10/100/1000 Mb/s capability and delivers 48 V PoE in accordance with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards. Housed in a blue and black enclosure, the injector consolidates four data-and-power RJ45 outputs and a single DC power input to feed PoE cameras, access points and other powered devices without requiring separate power adapters at each endpoint.

Advantages

The device combines gigabit throughput and PoE power delivery into a single, space-saving unit, enabling simple installation where centralized power is preferred. Built to meet IEEE 802.3af/at compatibility, it supports a wide range of PoE equipment and preserves full gigabit speeds for connected devices. The clear separation of data and power input makes it straightforward to integrate into existing networks while the recommended power planning guidance helps avoid overload of the AC–DC supply.

Suitable for

• Powering PoE surveillance cameras that require up to 48 V
• Supplying power to wireless access points and small network devices
• Deployments where centralized PoE power is preferred over individual adapters
• Small office or home networks needing up to four PoE-enabled ports

Key specifications

• Network ports: 4 × RJ45, 10/100/1000 Mb/s (gigabit)
• PoE output voltage: 48 V DC
• PoE standard compatibility: IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at
• Power distribution: data and power combined on RJ45 PoE ports; power pins per connector for PoE delivery
• Power input connector: DC jack with 5.5 mm outer diameter
• Enclosure colour: blue and black

How to use

Connect the injector's data input RJ45 to your switch or router and plug the supplied AC–DC adapter into the DC power input. Attach PoE-capable devices to the four PoE RJ45 outputs; these ports carry both Ethernet data and the 48 V PoE voltage. Ensure the combined power draw of connected devices does not exceed the AC–DC adapter capacity. If necessary, use an adapter with higher wattage following the recommended power planning (approximately 10 W per RJ45 kit where 1 kit equals two RJ45 sockets).

Recommendations

Plan total power requirements before connecting devices: estimate about 10 W per RJ45 kit (1 kit = 2 sockets) as a guideline and select an AC–DC adapter with sufficient headroom. Use quality CAT5e or CAT6 cables to preserve gigabit performance, and verify device compatibility with IEEE 802.3af/at standards. Avoid exceeding the injector's input power rating to prevent instability.
