Pomona 1269 BNC-bus naar dubbele bindingsstekker-adapter, zwart, vernikkeld, 30 VAC/60 VDC, 5 A

In a laboratory or test environment, technicians often need to connect coaxial cables to bare wires or banana plugs. The Pomona 1269 adapter provides a BNC female connector on one end and two nickel-plated binding posts on the other, enabling quick, solderless connections for signal and power. Its black polypropylene housing and nickel-plated brass contacts ensure durability and reliable performance.

Key specifications

• Connector 1: BNC female
• Connector 2: Dual binding posts (2 posts)
• Impedance: 50 Ω
• Voltage rating: 30 VAC / 60 VDC
• Current rating: 5 A
• Contact plating: Nickel
• Body material: Brass
• Insulation material: Polypropylene
• Operating temperature: -50°C to +150°C

Why choose it

This adapter eliminates the need for soldering when transitioning between coaxial and wire terminations. The nickel plating resists corrosion, and the 50 Ω impedance matches common RF test equipment, minimizing signal reflections.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting BNC-equipped instruments to terminal blocks or breadboards.
• Quick test setups in electronics labs and repair benches.
• Adapting coaxial cables to banana plug leads for multimeters or power supplies.

Good to know

The binding posts accept standard 4mm banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare wires. The adapter is compact and lightweight, suitable for bench use. The black housing provides clear visual identification in crowded setups.
