Poortblokkeersleutel Lindy USB Type-C poortblokkeersleutel 4-pack groen

The Lindy USB Type C Port Blocker Key Pack of 4 Green contains four green port blocker keys designed to secure USB Type-C ports on laptops, workstations and public devices. Lightweight and compact (0.01 kg), these port blockers physically prevent insertion of USB mass storage, pen drives and mobile devices into exposed Type-C ports, reducing the risk of unauthorised data transfer or device access. The pack includes matching keys and locks in green; keys are compatible only with port blockers of the same colour.

Advantages

These USB Type C port blocker keys provide a simple physical method to restrict access to USB-C ports without changing device software. The set of four is light and easy to store, and the colour-coded design helps administrators identify matching keys and blockers quickly. Installation and removal require no tools and the mechanism secures the blocker in place until intentionally released.

Suitable for

• Public workstations and kiosks
• Shared office computers and meeting-room devices
• Schools, libraries and other educational environments
• Retail or exhibition equipment with exposed USB-C ports

How to use

Attach the key to the lock and insert the blocker into the USB Type-C port. Release the sliding mechanism on the key to leave the blocker secured in place. To remove a blocker, insert the matching key back into the lock, engage the release mechanism and pull the lock out. Ensure you use the key that matches the blocker's colour, as keys are only compatible with port blockers of the same colour.

Recommendations

Use these port blocker keys in combination with organisational access policies and regular audits of device ports. Keep spare matching keys in a secure location and label sets by colour for quick identification. Avoid forcing the blocker into damaged or obstructed ports to prevent port damage.
