Potlood Staedtler Jumbo 2B zeshoekig, stiftdiameter Ø 3 mm, veelkleurig, 1 stuk

Staedtler Jumbo 2B hexagonal pencil with a 3 mm lead diameter delivers a thick, soft line suitable for drawing, shading and bold handwriting. The pencil combines a comfortable hexagonal barrel for secure handling with a 2B lead grade that balances darkness and smoothness. The multicolour finish makes individual pencils easy to distinguish and adds visual variety to a pencil case or classroom supply. Supplied as a single piece, this pencil is intended for everyday use by children, students and artists who need a robust, easy-to-grip instrument for sketches and schoolwork.

Advantages

The 3 mm lead produces a wide, consistent stroke that is ideal for filling areas and rapid sketching, while the 2B hardness offers dark marks without excessive smudging. The hexagonal shape improves grip stability and reduces rolling, supporting controlled lines and comfortable extended use. A sturdy core and thick lead reduce breakage compared with thinner pencils, making it suitable for both classroom environments and studio use. The multicolour exterior aids quick identification and organization among other writing tools.

How to use

Sharpen the pencil with a sharpener designed for thick leads to expose an even 3 mm core. Use gentle, consistent pressure for shading and broader strokes; apply lighter pressure when finer detail is needed. When erasing, choose a soft eraser to avoid paper damage and use short, careful strokes to remove unwanted marks. Store the pencil horizontally or in a container to protect the lead from impacts.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the Staedtler Jumbo 2B pencil with a sharpener compatible with thick leads, and use a kneaded or soft eraser for shading work. Replace the pencil if the barrel becomes excessively worn to maintain comfortable grip and control.
