Printmedia Canon IJM021 50 m 61 cm

The Canon IJM021 50 m x 61 cm is a roll of print media designed for large-format inkjet printing. With a length of 50 meters and a width of 61 centimetres, this roll provides continuous media for extended print runs in photo, graphic and document applications. The sheet weight of 90 g/m² balances handling stability and feed reliability, delivering consistent feeding and predictable output quality on compatible Canon printers.

Advantages

This print media offers stable dimensional properties and a smooth surface that supports crisp line definition and accurate color reproduction. Its 90 g/m² weight reduces curling and jamming in wide-format printers while maintaining good opacity for double-sided visibility control. The roll format minimises media changes during production and is suitable for both single prints and batch jobs.

Suitable for

• Large-format photographs and posters
• Proofing and color-accurate graphic prints
• Indoor signage and promotional materials
• Technical drawings and CAD prints

Key specifications

• Media type: inkjet-compatible roll
• Length: 50 m
• Width: 61 cm
• Weight: 90 g/m²
• Surface: smooth, matte-compatible finish for sharp detail
• Format: continuous roll for uninterrupted printing

How to use

Load the roll into the printer according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring correct alignment and tension to prevent skewing. Select the appropriate media profile or paper type in the printer driver to match the 90 g/m² inkjet media and intended output (photo, graphic, or draft). Allow prints to dry fully before handling to avoid smudging; drying time varies with ink type and printer settings. When cutting, use a straight-edge cutter or guillotine to obtain clean edges.

Recommendations

Store the roll horizontally in a dry, dust-free environment at moderate temperature and humidity to preserve media flatness and ink receptivity. For best results, use with printers and inks specified for Canon inkjet media, and perform a test print when switching from a different paper type or weight to verify color accuracy and feed behavior.
