Printronix 255048-401 printerlint 30000 pagina's

Printronix 255048-401 printer ribbon 30000 pages is an extended-life black cartridge ribbon designed for use with Printronix P8000 and P7000 line matrix printers. Supplied as a 4-pack, this ribbon offers a long page yield of up to 30,000 pages per cartridge under standard conditions and is intended for printers operating at 1000, 1500 and 2000 lines per minute. The design focuses on uniform print quality, reduced waste and lower operating cost per page compared with earlier line matrix spool ribbons and many alternative technologies.

Advantages

The cartridge ribbon delivers longer print life and more consistent print density across the print run, helping maintain legible output for invoices, labels and reports. It reduces the frequency of ribbon changes and is supplied in a multipack to lower the cost per cartridge. The cartridge format is cleaner and easier to replace than traditional spool ribbons and does not require special technical skills for installation or maintenance.

How to use

Install the cartridge ribbon following the printer manufacturer’s installation procedure for P8000/P7000 series line matrix printers. Power off the printer or follow the recommended user prompts, open the cartridge access area, remove the empty ribbon cartridge and insert the new cartridge until it clicks into place. Close the access cover and perform any required ribbon alignment or calibration routine as described in the printer manual. Regularly monitor print quality and replace cartridges when print density falls below acceptable levels.

Recommendations

Store cartridges in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use genuine Printronix-compatible cartridges for optimal print consistency. For best results, match the cartridge type to your printer’s rated line speeds and run routine print quality checks to ensure legibility and maximise page yield.
