Privacyfilter DICOTA D50018-2AD 2-weg plakfolie voor 15,6 inch 16:9 beeldschermen (universeel)

DICOTA D50018-2AD is a 2-way adhesive privacy filter for 15.6" 16:9 laptop and monitor screens. The universal stick-on design reduces side viewing angles so that on-screen information remains clear when viewed from the front while becoming unreadable from the left and right. The thin, adhesive film attaches directly to the display surface and is suitable for business travel, public places and shared workstations where shoulder-surfing or casual side viewing is a concern.

Advantages

The filter uses a two-way privacy technology that limits lateral visibility while preserving front contrast and color fidelity for the primary user. Its adhesive mounting provides a low-profile, stable attachment without the need for a frame or clips. Being designed for 15.6" 16:9 screens, the film is cut to fit widescreen laptops and monitors, and the universal approach supports a wide range of devices with compatible display dimensions. Application and removal are fast and do not require tools.

Suitable for

• Business travel and on-the-go laptop use
• Public spaces such as cafes, airports and trains
• Open-plan offices and shared workstations
• Medical, financial or legal work requiring privacy in public settings

Key specifications

• Screen size compatibility: 15.6" diagonal, 16:9 aspect ratio
• Privacy orientation: two-way (left and right)
• Mounting method: adhesive (stick-on) film
• Form factor: thin, low-profile privacy film
• Visibility: clear front view, darkened side views

How to use

Before application, clean the display surface thoroughly to remove dust, grease and fingerprints. Align the privacy filter with the screen edges, peel off the protective backing and press the adhesive film gently onto the display starting from one edge and smoothing across to avoid air bubbles. If needed, lift and reapply within the adhesive tolerance to correct alignment. To remove, peel the film off slowly from a corner and discard or store according to local disposal regulations.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the display brightness at a moderate to high level to maintain clear front visibility while ensuring that side angles remain obscured; avoid stretching or folding the film during application and store spare protective liners for future use.
