Prullenbak Hailo Big-Box Swing XL 52 L

The Hailo Big-Box Swing XL 52 L is a rectangular trash bin designed for easy and hygienic waste disposal. Constructed from durable plastic and steel, it offers a 52-litre capacity in a compact footprint (339 mm W x 260 mm D x 763 mm H). The unit features a two-part self-closing swing lid and a frame to clamp waste bags securely, making it suitable for home or office environments where tidy, low-maintenance waste management is required.

Advantages

The two-part self-closing swing lid allows hands-free or light-touch operation while keeping odours contained. The integrated waste bag clamping frame holds liners firmly in place to prevent slipping and conceal bag edges. Four non-slip feet provide stability on various floor surfaces and help protect floors from scratches. The combination of plastic and steel construction ensures a balance of light weight and durability.

Suitable for

• Household kitchens and utility rooms
• Office break rooms and common areas
• Workshops or storerooms with moderate waste volume
• Places requiring tidy, concealed bin liners

How to use

Place the bin on a level surface and ensure the non-slip feet are contacting the floor. Fit a suitable 52 L waste bag into the container and secure it using the bag clamping frame so the bag edge is held out of sight. Use the swing lid to deposit waste; the self-closing mechanism will return the lid to a closed position after use. Empty and replace the liner when full and wipe the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, use appropriately sized strong liners (approximately 52 L) and avoid overfilling the bin to ensure reliable closure of the swing lid and to prolong the mechanism's life. Regular cleaning prevents odours and maintains appearance.
