Prullenbak Hailo Öko trio Plus L / 3x9L / zilver

Hailo Öko trio Plus L is a pedal-operated triple-compartment trash bin with three removable 9‑liter inner containers designed for convenient waste separation. The unit combines a rectangular silver steel body with a black plastic lid and an internal pedal mechanism for hands-free opening and closing.

Advantages

The bin provides three color-coded removable plastic containers (green, brown, yellow) for organized sorting of recyclables and general waste. Its slow-closing lid and internal pedal mechanism reduce noise and wear, while the wide ergonomic pedal allows comfortable foot operation. The steel body gives a durable, easy-to-clean exterior suitable for kitchens, offices, and communal areas.

Suitable for

• Household kitchens for separating organic, recyclable and residual waste
• Small offices or break rooms requiring compact waste sorting
• Shared living spaces or workshops where distinct collection streams are needed

When it may not be suitable

This bin may not be suitable where a larger total capacity is required, since the total volume is 27 liters split into three 9‑liter containers. It is also not ideal for bulky waste items that do not fit into the smaller inner containers.

Key specifications

• Total configuration: 3 removable inner containers, each 9 L (3 × 9 L)
• Overall dimensions: 43 × 47 × 34 cm
• Body material: steel sheet, silver finish
• Lid material and color: plastic, black
• Pedal: wide ergonomic plastic pedal with internal pedal mechanism
• Closing mechanism: slow-closing lid

How to use

Operate the bin by pressing the wide plastic pedal with your foot to lift the lid; the internal mechanism and slow-close function ensure quiet operation. Remove each inner container by lifting it out for emptying and cleaning. Replace the containers and close the lid by releasing the pedal. Clean the steel exterior and plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild detergent when necessary.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure three 9 L compartments meet your household or office waste-sorting needs (total 27 L)
• Check physical dimensions (43 × 47 × 34 cm) for available space
• Consider whether inner-container size is suitable for the types of waste you produce

Recommendations

For efficient separation, label or consistently assign each colored inner container to a specific waste stream (for example: green for recyclables, brown for organic waste, yellow for residual or packaging), and empty containers regularly to avoid odors and overfilling.
