The Hikvision DS-2CD2T166G3-IS2UY/SL (2.8mm) is a compact IP network surveillance camera with a fixed wide-angle 2.8 mm lens, designed for continuous video monitoring and remote access. It supports integration into network video recorder (NVR) systems and is intended for indoor and sheltered outdoor installations where a small form factor and broad field of view are required. The camera provides stable network streaming for live view and recording and is suitable for sites that need discreet but reliable surveillance.

Advantages

The camera combines a compact housing with a wide-angle fixed lens to capture broad scenes without requiring lens adjustments. Its network connectivity enables remote viewing and integration with standard NVR platforms, simplifying installation in existing IP video systems. The small size supports unobtrusive mounting in corridors, retail areas, offices or sheltered outdoor locations while preserving image coverage. Built for continuous operation, the device supports typical surveillance workflows such as live monitoring, motion-triggered recording and scheduled capture.

Suitable for

• Indoor monitoring in offices, retail spaces and corridors
• Sheltered outdoor entrances and covered parking areas
• Integration with NVR-based video management systems
• Areas requiring a wide field of view from a compact camera
