Helos CAT 6 5m netwerkkabel geel Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45

The Helos CAT 6 5m networking cable Yellow Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 is a 5 meter Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home, office and small business networks. It uses Category 6 performance characteristics with U/UTP construction and standard RJ-45 connectors at both ends. The yellow jacket provides easy visual identification in patch panels and cable runs while the 5 m length allows flexible placement between devices such as switches, routers and workstations.

Advantages

This Cat6 U/UTP cable supports higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with lower category cables, enabling faster LAN throughput and more stable connections for wired devices. The RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network equipment and the 5 m length balances reach and cable management. The yellow sheath improves visibility for organization and maintenance without affecting electrical characteristics.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops or VoIP phones to network switches or routers
• Patch connections in home labs, small office networks and server racks
• Short to medium cable runs where clear color coding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Category 6
• Cable length: 5 m
• Shielding type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall unshielded)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: Yellow

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the network ports of the devices you wish to connect, ensuring secure seating until the connector latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tight kinks; maintain gentle curves and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For structured cabling, use appropriate cable management such as clips or ties and avoid excessive tension when securing the cable.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 cable for Gigabit Ethernet or lower-speed 10/100/1000BASE-T connections. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and limit bending at connector ends. When color-coded cabling is required for identification, the yellow jacket helps distinguish this run during installation and maintenance.
