Puzzelmat Schmidt Spiele 57989

The Puzzle mat Schmidt Spiele 57989 is a roll-up work surface designed to support jigsaw puzzle assembly up to 1000 pieces. The mat provides a smooth, non-slip area that protects puzzle pieces during sorting and assembly and enables users to store and transport an in-progress puzzle by rolling the mat around a central tube or similar support. The material is flexible and durable so the work surface remains flat during use but can be compactly stored when not needed.

Advantages

The mat offers a continuous, even surface sized for puzzles up to 1000 pieces that prevents pieces from sliding and protects delicate edges. Its flexible construction allows the mat to be rolled without disturbing assembled sections, so projects can be paused and resumed easily. The material is durable for repeated use and resists creasing and deformation, enabling safe transport and compact storage. The neutral backing reduces glare and visual distraction while sorting and assembling pieces.

Suitable for

• Assembling jigsaw puzzles up to 1000 pieces
• Sorting and organizing puzzle pieces before assembly
• Temporarily storing a work-in-progress for transport or space-saving
• Using on tables, desks, or other flat surfaces in homes, schools, or clubs

Key specifications

• Designed capacity: compatible with puzzles up to 1000 pieces
• Work surface: smooth, non-slip material for stable assembly
• Storage: roll-up design for compact storage and transport
• Durability: flexible material resistant to creasing and repeated rolling
• Suitability: flat-table use and temporary vertical transport when rolled

How to use

Unroll the mat on a clean, level surface large enough to contain the puzzle. Arrange and sort pieces directly on the mat, using its non-slip surface to keep pieces in place. When pausing work, roll the mat gently around a tube or similar core, starting from one edge and ensuring assembled sections remain flat and supported. Secure the rolled mat with bands or a fastening strap if transporting. Unroll the mat carefully to continue assembly, allowing the surface to lie flat again before resuming work.

Recommendations

Keep the mat clean and free of grit to avoid scratching puzzle pieces. Avoid folding the mat; always roll to preserve the flat work surface. Store the rolled mat in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prolong material life. When transporting, secure the roll to prevent unrolling and protect assembled sections from pressure or bending.
