Raamdoorvoer ShiverPeaks 86376-G — vergulde contacten, witte afwerking

Window connector ShiverPeaks 86376-G is a white-finish connector designed for window-mounted installations where a compact, durable electrical interface is required. The connector features gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resistance to corrosion, and its external design aims to provide a tidy appearance when installed on frames or panels. It is intended for joining cabling or small modules in window systems used in residential and commercial environments.

Advantages

The gold-plated contacts reduce contact resistance and improve long-term signal integrity compared with standard plated alternatives. The white finish provides a neutral visual integration with most window frames and interior decor. Its construction supports reliable mechanical and electrical connection in applications subject to occasional handling, vibrations, or temperature variations commonly found in window-mounted installations.

Suitable for

• Window-mounted communication or sensor modules
• Cabling pass-throughs in residential and commercial window frames
• Retrofit installations that require a low-profile external connector
• Environments where reduced contact corrosion is needed (e.g., humid locations)

Key specifications

• Finish: white external housing
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Application: window or frame-mounted connector for joining cabling or modules
• Design: compact, low-profile mounting suitable for visible installations
• Durability: built for repeated mating cycles and environmental exposure typical of window installations

How to use

Prepare the window or frame opening according to the connector’s mechanical footprint, align the connector so the contacts correspond with the mating cable or module, and secure the housing to the frame using the recommended fasteners. Ensure wiring is routed and terminated correctly on the mating side and that contacts are fully engaged to establish a reliable electrical connection. After installation, test continuity and signal quality to verify correct operation.

Recommendations

For long service life, avoid exposing the connector to prolonged direct water ingress and perform periodic inspections of contact condition when installed in high-humidity or coastal environments. Use compatible cables and mating modules that match the connector’s contact geometry and recommended mating cycles.
