The Turtle Beach VelocityOne™ Race KD3 is a complete racing wheel and pedal system for Xbox and Windows PC that combines a K: Drive™ direct‑drive motor with adjustable aluminum pedals. It delivers up to 3.2 Nm of peak torque, ultra‑low latency and up to 2,160° of rotation, while magnetic paddle shifters and a full‑color Race Management Display™ provide precise control and on‑the‑fly profile adjustments. Wired and wireless connectivity (Bluetooth/RF/USB) and a built‑in battery with up to 30 hours of life support flexible setups across Xbox, PC and Android devices.

Advantages

The VelocityOne Race KD3 offers strong, realistic force feedback from its direct‑drive K: Drive motor and a wide rotation range for accurate steering input. Magnetic paddle shifters give smooth, reliable gear changes, and the Race Management Display enables quick configuration of up to five onboard profiles. Adjustable hall‑effect aluminum pedals allow tuning of pedal throw and response to match different car types. Both wired and wireless connection options increase compatibility and placement freedom.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

  • Sim racing on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles
  • Sim racing and driving sims on Windows PC
  • Mobile or casual play on Android devices (where supported)
  • Home cockpit setups requiring adjustable pedals and force feedback

  • Device type: Gearbox + pedals (complete wheel and pedal system)
  • Force feedback: K: Drive™ direct‑drive motor, peak 3.2 Nm
  • Rotation range: Up to 2,160°
  • Paddle type: Magnetic paddle shifters
  • Pedals: Adjustable hall‑effect aluminum throttle and brake
  • Connectivity: Wired & Wireless (Bluetooth/RF/USB), Bluetooth version 5.1

How to use

Mount the VelocityOne Race KD3 wheel to a compatible desk or cockpit, connect via USB for wired operation or pair using Bluetooth/RF for wireless use. Use the Race Management Display™ to select and adjust up to five onboard profiles including force feedback strength, control mapping and pedal response. Adjust pedal position and pedal throw to suit your preferred driving feel. Install the VelocityOne™ Tuner App on a compatible PC or mobile device to fine‑tune settings and save custom profiles.

Recommendations

For stable wireless performance, ensure the wheel’s battery is charged before extended sessions and keep the receiver/console within the recommended range. For the most accurate force feedback, use a solid mounting point and update firmware via the VelocityOne Tuner App when updates are available.

“Turtle Beach is not new to sim racing but also doesn't have a lot of options for gamers unlike Moza, Fanatec, and some others. Learning from the more expensive VelocityOne Race Wheel and Pedal System, the company is trying to make sim racing more…”

Pluspunten
  • Pros + strong force feedback even at 3.2 Nm + solid build quality + useful RMD with telemetry (in supported games) + steering wheel angle adjustment
Minpunten
  • fewer buttons compared to competition - no clutch pedal attachment - not compatible with third party steering wheels
