Rack-accessoire Inter-Tech 88887353

The Inter-Tech 88887353 rack accessory is a steel support designed to mount equipment in standard 19-inch racks. Its 48.3 cm width matches common rack dimensions while the compact depth and narrow profile allow for efficient use of cabinet space. Constructed from steel for durability, the accessory is supplied in packs of two and supports a maximum static load of 40 kg, making it suitable for shelving, small devices or additional mounting points inside server or network cabinets.

Advantages

The steel construction provides reliable mechanical strength and long-term resistance to deformation. The accessory’s 19-inch compatible width ensures straightforward installation in standard rack systems without modification. A compact overall footprint (55 mm width and 65.8 cm depth) helps preserve interior rack space and allows flexible placement of equipment. The supplied pair format simplifies outfitting multiple mounting positions at once and the modest pack weight makes handling and installation easier.

Suitable for

• Mounting small servers, switches or network appliances in 19-inch racks
• Creating additional shelf space for accessories, tools or power distribution units
• Organizing cables and peripheral devices within server or telecom cabinets
• Use in data center racks, server rooms, network closets and industrial enclosures

• Unit weight (pack): 1.32 kg

How to use

Install the rack accessory into the 19-inch vertical rails of the cabinet at the required height, aligning the mounting holes with the rack’s threaded or square-hole pattern. Secure each unit with appropriate rack screws or cage nuts (not supplied) and ensure the accessory is level before placing equipment on it. Distribute loads evenly across the surface and avoid concentrating the full rated weight at a single point. When mounting heavier items, use both units provided to achieve optimal support and stability.

Recommendations

Check the cabinet’s rail type and available mounting hardware before installation. Use certified rack fasteners suited to your rack’s hole pattern and periodically inspect the accessory and fasteners for tightness and signs of wear. Do not exceed the specified 40 kg load capacity and maintain even weight distribution to ensure safe, long-term operation.
