Rack-behuizing Atte ABOX-R5U0 5U, 180 mm diepte, compacte server-/camera-uitrustingsbehuizing

The Atte ABOX-R5U0 5U rack enclosure is a compact metal housing with a 180 mm internal depth designed to accommodate small servers, network devices and CCTV equipment in constrained spaces. Its shallow profile enables installation in wall mounts, small racks or inside cabinets where full-depth racks are impractical. The enclosure provides a structured mounting environment for 19-inch rack-mountable devices, helping to keep equipment secure and cable routing tidy while preserving access to front and rear ports.

Advantages

The metal construction offers mechanical protection for mounted devices and contributes to heat dissipation. The 5U height provides multiple rack-unit positions while the 180 mm depth is optimized for compact or short-depth devices such as DVRs, PoE switches and compact servers. The enclosure simplifies organization of CCTV and network installations by centralizing rack-mounted components in a single shallow housing and reducing the footprint compared with standard-depth racks.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a suitable surface or inside a compatible cabinet following the mounting instructions for wall or rack installation. Install rack-mount equipment using the front mounting rails, ensuring devices do not exceed the internal depth of 180 mm. Route power and data cables through available openings or cable entry points, keeping connections accessible from the front or rear as required. Verify secure fastening of devices and check ventilation clearance to avoid overheating of installed components.

Recommendations

Choose equipment with a chassis depth less than or equal to 180 mm to ensure proper fit. Allow airflow space around heat-generating devices and use appropriate cable management to maintain accessibility and serviceability.
