Rackafdekking Rittal SV 9607.000, PVC-behuizing, wit, diepte 1100 mm

Rittal SV 9607.000 rack cover is a lightweight protective housing made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in white, with a depth of 1100 mm and a weight of 960 g. Designed for use with server and network cabinets, the cover serves as a front or rear protective panel to reduce dust ingress and to limit accidental mechanical contact with installed equipment. The smooth PVC surface is easy to clean and helps maintain a tidy rack appearance in data centers and telecom rooms.

Advantages

The PVC construction delivers a balance of durability and low weight, making the cover simple to handle during installation and maintenance. Its neutral white finish integrates with common cabinet colours and improves visibility when accessing rack components. The cover provides basic protection against dust and incidental contact, helping to protect sensitive hardware without obstructing airflow when used in appropriate configurations.

How to use

Position the cover on the front or rear opening of the cabinet, aligning it with the mounting points or frame edges. Secure the cover according to the cabinet’s applicable fastening method or clips to ensure a snug fit. Clean the surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent as needed; avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents that can damage PVC. Remove the cover during major service tasks that require full access to equipment or when airflow requirements mandate alternative panels.
